Vendors will be set up just inside the four open sides of the shelter and facing outwards to minimize crowding. Simply navigate around the shelter's perimeter and form/join a line to each vendor with whom you would like to shop.
We're asking everyone to wear masks and stay 6 ft away from others while at the market. All vendors will be wearing masks. We can provide a brand new FREE reusable cloth mask if you forget yours.
Please be diligent in washing your hands frequently before you come out to market!
Most all of our vendors are now equipped to accept credit card payment. All vendors will also accept cash but please bring a range of bills and coins as exact change is preferred.
Participants in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can shop using an EBT card.
Our new system allows folks to run their card just once at the Croatan Gardens table and then shop freely with any of our vendors that sell SNAP-eligible foods using our custom SNAP tokens.
In 2021, Secotan Market was accepted into the Fresh Bucks Incentive Program, coordinated by RAFI-USA.
SNAP EBT customers can now double their money with up to $20 of FREE incentive tokens at each market to
